This photo recovery tool took about 24 hours to scan my 16Gb SD card and restores all of the photo. However all the restored files were about 15Mb each the program restored these as TIFF images of 160 x 120 pixels, considerable smaller that 3648 x 2736 they were taken in. As I did not really want thumbnail photos this was not really useful.
It's important that any photo recovery program you use works with the file format that your photos where taken in.
